CATW-Asia Pacific works to promote awareness on women’s human rights and initiate action against global sexual exploitation and violence against women, particularly prostitution and trafficking; lobbies against sexual exploitation in all its forms in appropriate UN bodies and other international systems, as well as in regional levels; promotes research on the causes, patterns and impact of prostitution and trafficking women; helps promote international solidarity and cooperation to combat sexual exploitation, and supports survivors of trafficking, prostitution and other forms of sexual exploitation.
