Action Alert: Ask House to Support the Senate Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act (JVTA)

CATW International April 27, 2015 United States

The Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act (JVTA), as amended, S.178 was recently voted out of the Senate unanimously. This package, which includes nearly all of the trafficking bills passed overwhelmingly by the House in January, would provide much needed services to victims, help ensure that child victims ensnared in the sex trade are no longer arrested and treated as criminals, and add primary prevention strategies to DOJ anti-trafficking programs.

Please join us in asking that the House swiftly take up and pass the Senate version of JVTA. Sign on here to the attached letter by COB Tuesday, April 28, 2015.
