CATW January 24, 2004 Georgia

CATW’s partner, the Center for Foreign Citizens and Migrants Rights and Security (FCRS), organized courses on migrating abroad for potential migrants from Georgia. This course provided information on the realities and risks of the trafficking and migration experience. The course educated individuals about the perils of the journey, offering practical, legal information, visa and travel requirements as well as migrants rights and responsibilities. The course developed a hotline, distributed fliers and conducted outreach to would be migrants in regions of Georgia with high trafficking incidents.
